Its location and highway access make it a short commute to all of San Diego. Solana Beach is lined by 1.7 miles of golden beaches. The secluded Tide Beach, well known by the locals, is at the northern end and accessible by a long set of stairs in a residential community. It’s favored among families for its easy public access to a grassy area for picnics overlooking the ocean, a playground for kids, and a pristine beach. Outdoor enthusiasts take part in land and sea activities in the area.
