Welcome to Downtown San Diego
Downtown San Diego is called "America's Finest City" for a reason. Anchored by 70 miles of beautiful coastline, Downtown offers dynamic dining, vibrant arts, culture, and entertainment.
Each unique neighborhood of Downtown has something for everyone.
The Marina District is located in the Southwest District of Downtown. You will find that luxury high rises with million dollar views are commonplace. Marina's central location to Seaport Village, The Headquarters, The Embarcadero, and Waterfront Park, make it a top choice for foodies and entertainment seekers. Enjoy one of the many festivals or concerts on the bay just outside your door.
East Village is located in the southeast of Downtown. Home to Petco Park and our beloved San Diego Padres. You will find modern style condos with an industrial flare. East Village is sprinkled with hip coffee shops, trendy restaurants, craft breweries, and chic rooftop bars.
The Gaslamp Quarter is located in the center of Downtown. You will find historic lofts, low-rise brick buildings and of course the vintage gaslamps lining the streets this district. Gaslamp is like an adult playground with everything from boutique shopping to swanky nightclubs to 5-star restaurants. Gaslamp is the party destination Downtown.
Cortez Hill is a historic Downtown neighborhood built on a hill on the Northeast side. It's crown jewel, vintage 1920’s building The El Cortez shining bright at the top of the hill. One of the oldest Downtown neighborhoods, Cortez Hill is mostly residential with a few coffee shops and hotels. This quiet area of Downtown has a mix of high-rises and townhomes.
Little Italy located in the northwest district of Downtown has a selection of homes from luxury highrises to craftsman cottages. Enjoy authentic Italian dining al fresco or farm to table fusion. it's a gourmet dream! Little Italy prides itself with a weekly farmer's markets, obscure craft cocktail bars, and traditional sidewalk cafes.
Wherever you are Downtown you will be impressed with the walkability, excitement, and endless activities.
What we love about Downtown
- Summer concerts and the Embarcadero.
- Take a water taxi to Coronado and get a beautiful view of the skyline from the water.
- So many great restaurants to choose from, a few of our favs: Basic in East Village for a slice of mash potato pizza, Monello in Little Italy for fresh pasta and the best happy hour, La Puerta in the Gaslamp for an awesome Taco Tuesday!
