Bay Park

Beautiful Mission Bay and offers a bird’s eye view of both Mission Bay and the Pacific Ocean.

Welcome to Bay Park

Bay Park overlooks beautiful Mission Bay and offers a bird’s eye view of both Mission Bay and the Pacific Ocean. It’s known for its central location just east of the 5 freeway across from Mission Bay and just north of Old Town. Visitors to Mission Bay can enjoy Mission Bay Park, an enormous man-made aquatic park which offers space for those interested in wakeboarding, jet-skiing, sailing, and camping. There is a lot to see and do in Bay Park. It’s an unassuming neighborhood with an impressive roster of restaurants, parks, and more.

Bay Park real estate is primarily made up of medium to large single family homes with very few condos. Most of the homes date back to the post-war mid-century housing boom. Many of the residences in the Bay Park neighborhood are older, well-established, built between 1940 and 1969.  A lot of these older homes are being discovered by young families and they’re turning into beautiful multi-million dollar communities.

The community of Clairemont in San Diego is a popular suburban neighborhood subdivided into the smaller towns of North Clairemont, Clairemont Mesa East, and Clairemont Mesa West. Clairemont was master-planned in the 1950s to house San Diegans during the post-World War II housing boom and hosts elegantly designed neighborhoods. Clairemont's winding streets, were designed to offer spectacular views of Mission Bay.

For shopping, Clairemont residents have convenient access to 3 main shopping complexes: Clairemont Town Square, Balboa Mesa Shopping Center, and Genesee Plaza, all of which are a short drive from anywhere in Clairemont. Residents of Clairemont enjoy many recreational opportunities and facilities that offer areas to camp, exercise, picnic, or simply enjoy a beautiful San Diego day. There are many parks found in the area including Marian Bear Memorial Park, North Clairemont Park, Clairemont Community Park, Mount Acadia Park, Mount Etna Park, East Clairemont Athletic Area, Olive Grove Park, Lindbergh Park, and Tecolote Canyon Natural Park.

What we love about Bay Park

  • Seisel’s, a specialty grocery/butcher shop that is popular for its high-quality cuts and full service deli.
  • Sardina’s Restaurant. They have the best food and drinks during their happy hour that starts at 3pm and goes till 6:30pm every day.

What we love about Clairemont

  • What I love about the Clairemont community is the central location. You can take surface streets just about anywhere out of the community. It also has every grocery, restaurant, convenient and shopping store you could ever imagine at your finger-tips.
