The Business of Personal

Great Stories - Ingraham“Your neighbors are going to start thinking your home is some sort of clown car soon enough!!” I joked that morning. Jenny, Brian and I sat in their living room as a very pregnant, very hopeful family weighed out the options. There were dogs, people, small people and even more people on the way! Not to mention, that it wasn’t just their family that was causing their home to burst at the seams. Jenny runs one of the most admired wedding planning businesses in San Diego and it was outgrowing their home office. In fact, that is how we met. Back in 2010 I called on Jenny because she was one of the very best. As a young real estate agent, we have a lot of clients in common with wedding planners. It only made sense then for me to get to know the best in the business and work towards growing together. And, in fact, that is exactly what we did.

You see, in both the real estate and wedding business we take everything personally. You could say we work in the business of personal. So the more we can connect with our client’s lives the better we can service their needs. So, after years of working together with other clients, it meant so much to me that Jenny & her husband asked me personally to sell their Crown Point home. Sometimes in my business the real treat is watching your clients succeed right before your eyes. I saw their family grow and mature, their business thrive and with a touching sense of pride, last week, I saw Jenny & Brian sell their Crown Point home and move to a wonderful historic craftsman atop Bankers Hill. With room to grow and a grassy backyard to play, I know this is the best change yet for their family. For Jenny and I, it is also yet another reminder that we are in the business of personal. Cheers to you and your love ones!
